Glen Hansard - Don’t Settle (Vol. 2 - Transmissions West) [audioCD]

The Raw Energy of a Live Studio Performance

Continuing the journey started with “Don’t Settle - Transmissions East,” Glen Hansard presents the highly anticipated second installment, “Don’t Settle - Transmissions West.” This release moves beyond a typical 'Best of' compilation, offering a pure, live studio album experience that captures the magic of Hansard's prolific and diverse career.

This recording is defined by its commitment to authenticity: no second takes, no autotune, and no editing. It delivers just live, raw, direct energy, showcasing the artist like never before.

• Recorded at the legendary Funkhaus in Berlin, a historical East German radio and recording studio.
• Captured in a controlled studio environment featuring a huge, acoustically perfect orchestral live room.
• The album was recorded and filmed across two nights, performed in the round with 600 fans present each night.

This significant release coincides with a nearly sold-out UK/EU tour, including a major show at The Roundhouse in London. Furthermore, this special period in Glen Hansard’s career, looking both to the past and the future, is documented in an accompanying feature-length film and a Making of documentary.
