Nouvelle Vague - A Date with Depeche Mode [Vinyl]

Experience Depeche Mode Classics Reimagined

More than twenty years after reinventing post-punk, Nouvelle Vague opens a bold new chapter with "A Date with Depeche Mode." This full-length reimagining breathes new life into the influential and beloved catalogue of Depeche Mode, transforming thirteen classics into intimate, cinematic, and deeply emotional songs. Recorded between Rio de Janeiro and Paris, the album strips away the electronic origins to reveal warm, organic, and timeless interpretations that highlight the core songwriting of these iconic compositions.

Featuring a Stellar Cast of Vocalists:

Performed by an exceptional international ensemble of guest vocalists, including Skye Edwards (Morcheeba), Beth Hirsch, Flavia Coelho, Mélanie Pain, Phoebe Killdeer, and Fredrika Stahl, each track offers a unique encounter between a voice and a song. This collaboration stays true to the signature Nouvelle Vague approach, infusing bossa nova, jazz, French pop, and Latin influences without losing the emotional power of the originals.

A Unique Blend of Styles:

Discover reimagined versions of fan favorites like "Enjoy the Silence," "Personal Jesus," "Stripped," "Just Can't Get Enough," and the fan-favourite "Ice Machine." These timeless songs are reborn through Nouvelle Vague's distinctive style, offering a fresh perspective on Depeche Mode's enduring legacy.
