Uada - Interwoven [audioCD]

Dive into Interwoven, the profound acoustic journey from Uada, tracing one song from each chapter of their discography. This album was first conceived on the very day Uada was founded, October 1st, 2014, as a stripped, atmospheric interpretation supported by the haunting resonance of strings like cello or violin. Uada, known for drawing from influences far beyond traditional black metal boundaries, uses this release to peel back layers and immerse the listener in textures that challenge and comfort.

More than a sonic experiment, Interwoven represents a deliberate act of vulnerability and a trial to step outside familiar shadows. The initial intent was to craft something primitive and ritualistic, echoing ancestral tones of ancient Pagan folk, utilizing vocals such as whispers, chants, and throat singing. However, an unscripted, improvised vocal passage in the track "Djinn" revealed an unexpected direction, sparking the foundation for the album's final form, which was recorded without script or rehearsal, prioritizing spontaneity and truth.
