Siamese - dissolution [Gold Metallic Vinyl]

Following their previous releases HOME (2021) and ELEMENTS (2024), Siamese delivers dissolution, an album born from necessity and introspection. After accumulating over 100 million streams and touring globally with major acts like Korn, Corey Taylor, and Dayseeker, this record marks the band's most personal statement yet. The creation of dissolution was fundamentally altered by the departure of a main songwriter, forcing Siamese to evolve from a songwriting camp into a more cohesive band unit.

Sound and Themes

The resulting sound is heavier, more instinctive, aggressive, and introverted than anything Siamese has previously released. At the core of dissolution is the exploration of a deeply complicated father-son relationship, rooted in childhood experiences with an abusive alcoholic father whose presence defined the family environment. This central conflict informs every other theme explored on the album, including infidelity, substance use, constant escapism, and the fear of time expiring. The album confronts the slow erosion of the belief that consequences can be avoided, reflecting the realization that everything eventually dissolves—memories fade, mistakes lose their edge, and the illusion of safety disappears, replaced by the reality of responsibility.
