Scorpion Milk - Flesh Masks For Skulls [CD]

Flesh Masks For Skulls is a six-track CD from Scorpion Milk, the project led by Mat McNerney of Beastmilk and Grave Pleasures. This post-punk EP includes new original material, two cover versions and a remix by Ulver.

Scorpion Milk builds on the sound of the 2025 debut album Slime Of The Times, blending post-punk with elements of goth metal and the black metal underground. The EP features versions of Gang of Four’s “What We All Want” and Devo’s “Gut Feeling”.

Ulver remixes “All Snakes, No Ladders”, a track from Slime Of The Times. The release continues McNerney’s exploration of post-punk as a reaction rather than a genre.
