Description
What We Leave Behind is a heavy metal CD by Finnish band Brymir, suited to listeners drawn to melodic death metal and cinematic soundscapes. It comes in a digipak format.
The band's fifth album pairs orchestral arrangements, keyboards and choirs with fast guitar work, shaping an epic, introspective record around themes of humanity, mythology and pacifism.
Standout tracks include the title song, the atmospheric instrumental intro “Slaying Star”, “True Darkness” and the closing epic “Broken Dawn”. The album also features Brymir's melodeath reworking of Scooter's “How Much Is The Fish”.
