Originally from Minnesota and now based in New York, Chanel Beads (the project of Lavers) began creating music in 2016. Known for collaging synthetic sounds with real instruments, the project gained attention for its androgynous vocals, unique artifice, and intimate delivery on tracks like "Ef" and "True Altruism." Having progressed from intimate house shows and underground performances to supporting Lorde on a North American arena tour, Chanel Beads brings a more collaborative and layered approach to Your Day Will Come.

This iteration features increased contributions from collaborators, including violinist Zachary Paul and Maya McGrory, who lends her voice and co-wrote the track "Silver Cup."
