Current 93 - Dogs Blood Rising [Vinyl]

Dive into the challenging second album from Current 93, DOGS BLOOD RISING, presented here on vinyl. This record follows the seminal NATURE UNVEILED and was described by David Tibet as an album that hoped, wished, and made bad trips sound like good trips. Recorded partially at Roundhouse Studios and partially in more affordable 8-track settings, this release captures the restless energy and spiritual searching prevalent during its creation.

Artistic Context and Sound

David Tibet reflects that after the success of the previous work, he realized the formula involved Christian eschatology and Apocalyptic Christian texts over a unique soundscape. DOGS BLOOD RISING is considered the Mirror Night to NATURE UNVEILED, offering a deeply personal and intense listening experience that continues to resonate with themes of watching and praying.
