Description

Servants Of Sorcery is the CD edition of Fimbulwinter’s cult Norwegian black metal release, featuring Shagrath, later known as Dimmu Borgir’s mainman. This edition includes additional material and a 16-page booklet.

Formed in Oslo in 1992, Fimbulwinter made a raw, primal black metal recording that captures the early-1990s Norwegian scene. The album was released in 1994, with its tracks recorded in the winter of 1992.

This edition adds material sourced from the band’s tape collection, including Darkthrone’s “The Watchtower” for the first time on the release. It also features Fimbulwinter’s cover of Celtic Frost’s “Morbid Tales”.
