The El Duce Tapes - Limited Edition [Blu-ray]

In the early 90s, aspiring filmmaker and General Hospital co-star Ryan Sexton captured raw, unfiltered VHS footage of the shock rock band The Mentors and their notorious frontman, El Duce, in the underbelly of Hollywood. Three decades later, the team behind The Nightmare and Room 237, along with the editor of Leap of Faith: William Friedkin on The Exorcist, unearthed this forgotten archive. The result is a provocative, tragicomic documentary that delves into the extreme persona of El Duce, revealing unsettling insights into cultural tensions in 21st century America. Hailed as "Essential Viewing" by CineVue and "Dark and Irresistible" by director John Carpenter, The El Duce Tapes delivers a visceral, unforgettable experience.
