The Woman (2011) - Blu-ray Special Edition [Blu-ray]

Almost a decade after Lucky McKee emerged as a master of indie horror with his debut film May, he joined forces with legendary cult author Jack Ketchum to create The Woman—one of the most shocking and brutal films in modern horror. Premiering to acclaim at Sundance, this disturbing psychological thriller follows the last surviving member of a feral cannibal clan, portrayed chillingly by Pollyanna McIntosh. When successful country lawyer Chris Cleek (Sean Bridgers) captures her in the woods, he attempts to 'civilize' her with the help of his seemingly perfect family. What unfolds is a harrowing exploration of savagery, control, and the dark underbelly of American domesticity.
